The Slingshot Man is the cheapest ranged unit and also the weakest unit in the game. Costing 25 Gold, the Slingshot Man can be a really useful guy to have behind the Clubmen or Dino Riders because both have more attack power and health than the Slingshot Man. He can be used to support friendly units who are in front of him.

Slingshot Man

The Slingshot Man is available in the Stone Age. In age of war 2, they were actually called Slingers. They were though weak to units even more advanced or more powerful than them.

Weaknesses, comparasions, relationships, and contrastions[]

Slingshot men have a lot of weaknesses since they are the weakest basic ranged unit you can get and since they are summonable in the lowest age of all, the stone age. Along with that Slingshot men have numerous weaknesses, the units the Slingers are weak to are also very diferent to them and mostly better. Each unit below will be intentified in comparisons, contrastions, relationship, and how the slingshot men and slingers are weak to them and how they have an advantage to them in both Age of War 1 and Age of War 2.

Clubmen[]

Clubmen, in both games, are alike to Slingers and slingshots by that they are both in the stone age, they are the cheapest units you can buy, they are both the weakest units you can buy, and they are both the most basic units in any ages. In Age of War 1,Slingshot men see clubmen as their partners and trusty companions because they are a great combination together when in battle. In fact, it is the most strategic way to deal with in battle when in the stone age. For example, while a clubman is up close to an enemy, the slingshot men stay behind him and fing rocks at their target to have a better chance in killing him. Slingshots and clubmen are alike in many different ways. Such as they are both in the stone age, they are the cheapest units to buy, they are the weakest units in the game, and they are also the most basic units you can get. It takes about 1 slingshot man to kill a clubman. In Age of war 2, like in Age of War 1, Slingers see club men as their partners and trusty companions because they are a great combination together when in battle. In fact, it is the most strategic way to deal with in battle when in the stone age. For example, while a clubman is up close to an enemy, the slinger stay behind him and fing rocks at their target to have a better chance in killing him. Slinger and clubmen are alike in many different ways. Such as they are both in the stone age, they are the cheapest units to buy, they are the weakest units in the game, and they are also the most basic units you can get. It takes about 1 slinger to kill a clubman. That is it takes 2 non-upgraded clubmen to kill a fully-upgraded slinger. Clubmen are different to slingers because clubmen's health is bigger than their's by 40 hit points. Clubmen are built faster than slingers by 0.2. Slingers have range while clubmen don't. Slingers have an advantage to the clubmen because thy can attack from a distance away from them. Slingers are weak to clubmen because they have bigger health and can deal bigger damage.

Slingers refers to Dino riders as 'A hot one'. They are very fast, as what would be expected when riding a velociraptor. Though Slingers think they are hot, they are still very deadly. They aren't a very good combiination when in battle because the Dino rider is an infantry unit and is too fast. Though they do have an extremely bad weakness over the Slingers when in packs. Though the Speedy Dino is exactly half of twice as fast as a slinger would be. In fact, Speedy Dino's speed is better than the Slinger's speed by 1.3 m/s. The Speedy Dino's health is bigger than the Slinger's by 75 Hit points. The Slinger's build time is faster than the Speedy Dino's by 1.0 seconds. Speedy Dinos can take 30-40 of damage to others. that means theirs is bigger than the Slingers damage by 15-10.

Assault Dino[]

To Slingers, Assault Dinos are threatenly terrifying because to them at least, Assault Dinos are almost impossible to kill. judgeing by that they are armored type units, they have a Huge health, they are range and infantry units. it takes about 3-6 slingers to completely kill an Assault Dino. Assault Dinos to slingers can just simply step on their enemies and they win. When in battle, an Assault Dino is a great way to lead an army of slingers. Though they are both range units, Assault Dinos are more powerful then a slinger alone.

Spear sparton[]

Slingers don't really see something in Spear spartons. Probably they won't see them coming in the future. Though 1 Spear Sparton can kill a Slinger and it takes about 2 slingers to kill a Spear Sparton. They are both support type units, though they are from a different age. Most of the time, Slingers and Spear spartons don't really get along because they are advanced in their own ageous way.
